Lightworkers Deserve Protection Too

Many Lightworkers, healers, and empaths naturally want to help others. We care deeply. We support deeply. We often become the person everyone turns to when life feels overwhelming. But somewhere along the way, many Lightworkers begin believing that helping others means sacrificing themselves.

It doesn’t.

You do not need to absorb someone else’s emotions to help them.

You do not need to deplete your energy field to support others.

And you certainly do not need to empty your bank account in order to be of service.

As healers, we are providing a valuable service. Receiving money for our gifts, time, and energy is not selfish—it is a healthy energetic exchange.

Likewise, protecting your energy is not selfish. It is necessary.

The stronger, clearer, and more balanced your energy field becomes, the more effectively you can support others without becoming overwhelmed yourself.

This is one of the reasons I created Divine Feminine Lotus Reiki. Lotus Reiki was designed to help Lightworkers raise their energetic vibration, strengthen self-love, build healthy energetic boundaries, release persecution wounding, and become comfortable receiving.

Too many Lightworkers have been taught how to give. Few have been taught how to receive. Few have been taught how to protect their own energy. And few have been taught that their well-being matters too.

You have the right to feel safe.

Your energy deserves protection.

Your gifts deserve to be honored.

And your service deserves to be supported.

When we learn to protect our energy, we become stronger vessels for the work we came here to do. Because the most empowered Lightworker is not the one who sacrifices themselves for everyone else. The most empowered Lightworker is the one who serves from a place of wholeness, balance, and self-love.

And you have the right to live a life that supports both your spiritual purpose and your human experience.

Why do I write about this?

Because I was there.

Twenty-five years ago, I learned Usui Reiki and Acupressure. One question stayed with me throughout my training: “How do I help people, protect my energy, and make a living doing what I love?”

I understood helping others. What I didn’t understand was why so many people seemed to believe that Lightworkers should give endlessly but struggle to receive.

So I hid.

I hid who I was.

I hid what I loved.

I hid my gifts.

And instead of becoming a Reiki or Acupressure practitioner, I became a massage therapist.

No offense to massage therapists—I love you. But it wasn’t my path. It wasn’t what I truly wanted to do, and it wasn’t why I had gone to school.

I believed it was the only way I could make enough money to survive. I worked hard. Really hard.

Then I got hurt on the job. I found myself injured, struggling financially, and wondering what I had missed.

At the same time, my personal life felt like a hot mess. Divorce. A car accident. A deep lack of self-love.

Somewhere, I knew there was a missing piece.

Years later, after a tremendous amount of healing, I finally chose myself. I raised my vibration through Lightarian Reiki with Ascended Master Buddha. My Light Language was activated by another healer, and I discovered the Akashic Records.

Most importantly, I began retraining my mind.

For the first time in my life, I learned what healthy boundaries were.

I learned about energetic protection.

I learned about persecution wounding—the fear of being seen, receiving, and fully stepping into who you truly are. I learned the karmic pattern myself and other lightworkers where holding too.

The gift from all of this was profound. My Higher Self became fully anchored into my human experience.

It was one of the most powerful spiritual awakenings of my life.

The golden light.

The protection.

The self-love.

The empowerment.

And ultimately, the birthing for Divine Feminine Lotus Reiki, the attunement, the empowerment, and the divine voice awakening.

Today, I teach Lightworkers what I wish someone had taught me 25 years ago:

You can help others without sacrificing yourself.

You can protect your energy without closing your heart.

You can receive without guilt.

And you can build a life that supports both your spiritual purpose and your human experience.

That is not selfish.

That is wisdom.

That is empowerment.

And that is the path of the awakened Lightworker.

A Lightworker who heals persecution wounding becomes a lighthouse for themselves, their loved ones, and their community.
